Boise State vs. Washington State Prediction and Odds: Bank on the Cougars to Snap the Broncos Win-Streak
By Matt De Saro
The Boise State Broncos are gunning for their sixth straight win when they square-off against the Washington State Cougars tonight. This is a tale of two teams heading in opposite directions. Both are 8-4 on the year, but the Cougars are 3-2 in their last five games while the Broncos are riding a hot streak.
The Cougars are coming off a big 82-56 win over Northern Colorado heir last game out. The win was a strong bounce-back game after losing to New Mexico State 64-61 after blowing an 18-point lead. However, the Cougars are still struggling to put constant wins on the board and are just 3-3 in December.
Meanwhile, the Broncos are red-hot after a tepid start to the season. Boise State started the year with a 4-4 mark, but has since reeled off five victories in a row. Their most recent win was a 88-57 trouncing of Montana State.

Boise State vs. Washington State Prediction and Pick
While the Broncos have rebounded from a slow start, the Cougars have stalled out after a 5-0 run to begin the year. They have been very inconsistent since and have only covered once in their last three games. That slump brings the Cougars’ ATS record to 6-5 and 3-3 as a home team. They will have to pick it up if they hope to keep pace in a stacked Pac-12 this season. This is a great spot for the Cougars to keep their momentum going after Sunday’s big win over the Orediggers.
The Cougars are a stronger team top to bottom despite their recent slump and are in need of another win on Wednesday night. I think they come out guns blazing and cover as short favorites tonight at home against the Broncos.
Pick Washington State -4.5 (-105)
