The World Series changes locations to Atlanta for Game 3 between the Astros and Braves.

You can check out our game preview and prediction here, but let's hit on some prop bets for the third game of what has been a back-and-forth affair thus far.

Bold Predictions and Prop Bets For World Series Game 3

  • Braves First 3 Innings Total OVER 1 (-125)
  • Luis Garcia OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (+105)
  • Kyle Tucker to Hit a Home Run (+405)

Braves First 3 Innings Total OVER 1 (-125)

I'm not sold on either pitcher, and I think the Braves are able to plate at least one run early. Garcia has allowed five runs in his first two postseason starts this year before pitching a heroic Game 6.

Atlanta is home now in the hitter friendly Truist Park and we have seen early offense in both games. The club scored five runs in the first three innings in Game 1, and a lone run through three in Game 2. Overall, the team is sporting an elite .758 OPS through two games, and I expect they get to Garcia early.

Luis Garcia OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (+105)

While I think Garcia gets touched up, this price is too low not to play on a power pitcher like him.

Even though he couldn't get out of the third inning in his first start, he punched out three batters, and struck out two in an inning and two-thirds in his second start. He struck out seven in more than five innings in the aforementioned Game 6 win.

This price is too short not to play, even if the Braves get some early offense.

Kyle Tucker to Hit a Home Run (+405)

Tucker has incredible power in the heart of the Astros lineup and it feels that he is due for a big blast.

He is 3-for-7 with two runs scored in the series and has 30 homers to his name this season. Tucker is slugging .557 this season and Anderson could find himself in trouble against the top half of the Astros batting order.

It feels that there will be big blasts between two explosive lineups and I'll take a stab at the young star to get a hold one one.
