Wake Forest is firmly in the mix for a New Year's Six bowl game appearance this season now that Sam Hartman is back from an early season health scare.

We are going to see points in bunches on Saturday night between two of the best quarterbacks in the ACC.

We'll start with Hartman, who has made up for lost time this season, passing for 1,442 yards in five games after missing the first game of the season due to a health condition. He has passed for 16 touchdowns and two interceptions and should thrive against a BC defense that is 100th in explosive pass defended.

I'm counting on Wake to find the end zone at least five times on Saturday at home, but BC is going to need to do their part to get over this total in the 60's and I think Jurkovec has this team in a good spot to do that. The Demon Decans are even worse than the Eagles at stopping explosive passes, 106th in that metric.

With Wake likely playing from ahead in this one, I expect them to dictate the pace, which has been fast this season. Dave Clawson's bunch is 20th in terms of plays per minute and their pass-first has led to quick drives when they fail with the clock stopping.

I can see this game finishing with Wake winning 42-24 as Jurkovec and future NFL receiver Zay Flowers should have a few big plays to help this game go over.
