Loyola Chicago's NCAA Tournament run may start and end this afternoon as they face Bradley in the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.

The Ramblers are firmly in the bubble discussion for the NCAA Tournament, but must show out in St. Louis in order to solidify a bid into the Field of 68 (or win the whole thing and automatically qualify). They match up against a a Bradley team that defeated the Ramblers earlier this season and took them to overtime in the other meeting.

How should we bet this afternoon showdown? Is Bradley a live dog? Or will Loyola Chicago make a statement in their first game of 'Arch Madness?' Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook:

Bradley vs. Loyola Chicago Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Bradley: +6 (-110)
  • Loyola Chicago: -6 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Bradley: +210
  • Loyola Chicago: -260

Total: 131 (Over -110/Under -110)

Bradley vs. Loyola Chicago Prediction and Pick

While many may flock to Bradley as a live underdog given their success against Loyola Chicago this season, I'm not buying it.

The Ramblers defense should give the Braves offense fits given the underdogs concerning turnover metrics. Brain Wardle's club is in the bottom third in turnover rate nationally while the Ramblers force TO's at the best clip in the MVC.

Meanwhile, on the offensive side, the likes of Ryan Schwieger and Lucas Williamson should be able to generate enough offense for Loyola to pull away.

Loyola Chicago has the best effective field goal percentage in the conference and can score both inside and out (second in 3-point percentage, first in 2-point percentage).

I also like that the Ramblers get to the line at a healthy clip, second best FTR in the conference, while Bradley is last in getting to the charity stripe. I see the Ramblers pulling away late.

LEAN: Loyola Chicago -6
