Braves vs. Dodgers Prediction and Odds for NLCS Game 4
By Peter Dewey
The momentum has shifted in the NLCS.
Cody Bellinger, Mookie Betts and the Los Angeles Dodgers rallied from a 5-2 deficit in the eighth inning in Game 3 of the NLCS to beat the Atlanta Braves 6-5 and avoid falling in a 3-0 hole.
Obviously, the Dodgers desperately needed the win with their backs already against the wall, but it came with a historic comeback. Los Angeles had never won a game when trailing by three or more runs in the eighth inning in its postseason history until last night’s comeback.
Now, the Dodgers send 20-game winner Julio Urias to the mound in Game 4 with a chance to even the series. The Braves have yet to announce a starter for tonight’s game.
Here’s a look at the odds in Game 4 courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook:
Braves vs. Dodgers Odds, Run Line and Total
Run Line:
- Braves +1.5 (-185)
- Dodgers -1.5 (+165)
Moneyline:
- Braves: +190
- Dodgers: -215
Total:
- 8.0 (Over -115/Under -105)
Dodgers vs. Braves Prediction and Pick
I can’t ignore how big of a momentum shift last night’s win was for the Dodgers. Los Angeles was on the brink of falling in an almost impossible hole, but instead they came back in thrilling fashion.
With Urias on the mound in Game 4, I think Los Angeles gets another win to even the series. WynnBET clearly thinks so too with the Dodgers moneyline being juiced to -215, but with how close each game in this series has been taking the +1.5 run line may be a risky move, even though it has more value.
To further hammer home my Dodgers pick, the odds to win the NLCS shifted back into L.A.’s favor (-125) despite the fact that it is still trailing in the series.
Give me the Dodgers to build on yesterday’s comeback in Game 4.
