What could prove to be a pivotal series in the NL East is set to begin on Monday, when the Philadelphia Phillies host the Atlanta Braves for a three-game set.

The Phillies are currently on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoff picture, but they're still well in the hunt for not only a wild card berth, but the division crown isn't completely out of the question just quite yet. Especially with the Mets starting to stumble.

Let's break down the odds for the series opener, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Atlanta Braves are basically an auto-bet when they face a left-handed pitcher, and that's exactly the situation they find themselves in on Monday night.

Their ace, Max Fried (2.64 ERA), will face-off against Phillies' lefty, Ranger Suarez (4.07 ERA) in a duel between two left-handed pitchers.

Dating back to June 1, the Braves rank second in Major League Baseball in OPS at .832, and they're third in batting average against lefties during that span at .283. The Phillies, on the other hand, rank 16th and 18th in those two categories.

With Atlanta having the advantage in offense, starting pitching, and bullpen, I'm willing to lay the juice on their moneyline on Monday night.
