BREAKING: Lamar Jackson OUT in Week 11 for Ravens vs. Bears
By Ben Heisler
Sportsbooks have been hinting at it all week as the Ravens' odds began to drop, but now the news is official.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is OUT for his start this week against the Chicago Bears due to an illness unrelated to COVID-19.
According to multiple reports, Jackson is dealing with some sort of virus that's taken a toll on several Ravens players this week. Via ESPN's Adam Schefter, players such as rookie wideout Rashod Bateman and offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman have also been impacted.
The Ravens are already without top wide receiver Hollywood Brown due to a thigh injury.
Lamar Jackson's Status is Causing the Ravens' Odds to Plummet vs. Bears
After opening as 6.5-point road favorites in Chicago at WynnBET Sportsbook, the Ravens fell all the way to -4 before being locked at the time of this article. With Jackson out, the Bears could re-open as home favorites, or perhaps close to a pick 'em.

UPDATE: The line has re-opened at WynnBET with the Ravens as 2.5-point road favorites. The total is now set at 42.
