The British Open is underway and Day 1 has already been fantastic.

Cameron Young has come out swinging and has taken an early lead with his -8 score. He has some competition heading into Round 2 with Rory McIlroy and Cameron Smith both within three strokes of him. 

Young will start later in the day tomorrow, giving him a chance to check out his competition. Is this the start of a dominant weekend for Smith? Or is it just a good round that precedes a choke job? We have several days to find out.
