A pair of AFC contenders masquerading as elite preseason teams square off in Week 2 of the preseason as the Buffalo Bills host the Denver Broncos.

Denver's defense was fantastic in limiting the Dallas Cowboys to seven points last week, though Broncos fans are still clamoring to see new quarterback Russell Wilson in action.

The Bills rallied in the fourth quarter to top the Indianapolis Colts as their young wide receivers looked stellar.

Broncos vs Bills Prediction and Pick

I know the Baltimore Ravens are every bettor's favorite preseason team, but Sean McDermott has a full-fledged preseason juggernaut going in Buffalo.

Even without Josh Allen, the Bills' offense kept on humming. Their receives looked great and the running game, led by Zack Moss, looked explosive.

Congratulations to Denver for beating Dallas, but the Cowboys have been among the NFL's worst preseason teams for years. Thus, I'm not overly impressed. Broncos' running backs combined to average just 1.8 yards per carry, and the offense overall didn't score a point in three quarters.

Until Buffalo loses, I'll keep backing the Bills in the preseason. But I also like the under here. Denver seemed content to run the clock, as only 24 points were scored in that first matchup. With Buffalo leaning on the ground game, it'll do its part to keep scoring down as well.

Pick: Bills +1.0 (-115) and Under 40.0 (-110)
