The Denver Broncos travel to face the Cleveland Browns on a short week, with the two sputtering teams playing on Thursday Night Football.

These are two of the most injured teams in the league, both coming in on losing streaks, so who can get off the mat and grab a victory?

Let's check out the odds, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook to see if there is any betting value.

Broncos vs. Browns Prediction and Pick

I'm taking the points with the Broncos in a meeting between two banged up teams. The Browns are truly a mess right now with news coming out Monday that Kareem Hunt will miss several weeks with a calf injury, likely leaving the team down their top two running backs. Nick Chubb missed Sunday's loss to the Cardinals with an injury, and is in danger of missing Thursday's game too.

Cleveland is also down several offensive lineman and key contributors in the defense. With a quick turnaround, and Baker Mayfield battling through a torn labrum on his non throwing shoulder, this Browns team is far from their optimal state.

On the other side, the Broncos have dealt with their faire shrae of injuries, namely to the wide receiver corps with Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler out for a significant amount of time already this season.
However, we have seen the likes of Tim Patrick and Courtland Sutton have step up into bigger roles in the passing game. The team has struggled after starting 3-0, losing three straight, but this is a great spot to back Denver with an inflated number on the banged up Browns.

Bridgewater is one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history at covering as an underdog, as mentioned above, and I see their defense shutting down the banged up Browns offense and getting enough from Bridgewater to cover.

I'm not expecting the highest quality of football on Thursday, so I'll take Denver at anything above four.

Pick: Broncos +5
