Broncos vs. Chiefs Updated Odds and Prediction: What Bettors Need to Know
By Peter Dewey
The Denver Broncos will hit the road to face the Kansas City Chiefs in prime time in Week 13, and the odds in this matchup haven’t moved much since earlier in the week.
BetSided’s Reed Wallach broke down why bettors may be “paying a tax” on Andy Reid’s team because of his record against the spread after a bye week. However, he points out that Reid is just 6-6 ATS after a bye in Kansas City.
Denver (6-5) needs a win to keep the pace in the AFC West, and while that may seem like a longshot, the Broncos’ success as an underdog under Vic Fangio (18-12 ATS) suggests that they’ll keep this game closer than the odds suggest.
Here are the latest odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:

Broncos vs. Chiefs Prediction and Pick
What I wrote about Denver earlier this week in our betting preview still holds true. The Broncos and Teddy Bridgewater are great against the spread as road underdogs.
"Kansas City is sitting pretty in the AFC after a slow start, but it has struggled against the spread as a home favorite this year, going just 1-5 ATS.
"The Broncos are 18-12 against the spread as an underdog under Vic Fangio, and I think they have a chance to cover an inflated spread after a huge win over the Chargers last week. The Broncos followed a game plan, defending and running the ball, to perfection against the Chargers, and they could do the same to Kansas City.
"The Chiefs allow 4.6 yards per carry this season, which could allow Denver to control time of possession and keep Patrick Mahomes off the field. The Broncos probably won’t win, but I like them to cover with Teddy Bridgewater under center."
I'll back Denver at +10 in this matchup, especially with so much at stake in the AFC playoff race.
Pick: Broncos +10.0 (-110)
