The Denver Broncos have been one of the wildest teams to watch this NFL season. Their defense is third in the NFL in opponent points per game, allowing just 17,1, but their offense is dead last in scoring, averaging only 14.7.

This has resulted in them being an UNDER bettors dream, going 9-1 to the UNDER this season. They've been beyond frustrating for anyone betting on them or cheeting for them. If they scored only 18 points in regulation every game, they'd be 9-1 on the season, instead, they're sitting at 3-7.

Now, they get to face an offense who has been almost equally as bad in Carolina. As a result, the total is the lowest one we've seen all season.

Let's check out the odds and then I'll give you my best bet for the game.

Broncos vs. Panthers Odds, Spread, and Total

  • Broncos are 1-7 straight up in their last eight road games
  • The UNDER is 9-1 in Broncos games this season
  • Panthers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games
  • The UNDER is 4-1 in the Panthers' last five home games

Broncos vs. Panthers Prediction and Pick

The Broncos offense isn't as bad as you might think. Hear me out. Heading into Week 12, they rank 25th in yards per play. There are a handful of teams worse in terms of moving the ball down the field.

Where the majority of their woes originate from, is the red zone and third down opportunities. They rank 31st in third down offense, converting only 28.17% of their down downs. The only team that's worse? The Carolina Panthers.

That's a big reason why I like the Broncos in this spot. The areas that they struggle in are the same areas that the Panthers struggle in. That, in my mind, means the two offenses cancel each other out, and we're left with which defense is better.

The answer to that question is obvious. It's the Broncos who hold the advantage on the defensive side of the ball. They rank third in opponent yards per play, compared to the Panthers who rank 14th. They're also fourth in third down defense and first in red zone defense. Carolina ranks 22nd and 17th in those two key categories.

I've lost my fair share of bets on the Broncos this season, but I'm willing to go down with the ship one more time. Broncos country, let's ride.
