Broncos vs. Steelers: Odds, Spread, Over/Under and Prediction for NFL Week 5
By Peter Dewey
The Denver Broncos finally faced some quality competition in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens, and their perfect season was promptly erased with a 23-7 loss.
Starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was ruled out for the game at halftime after taking a big hit and sustaining a concussion, and Drew Lock struggled against a stout Ravens defense in the second half.
Denver’s defense played well for the most part, but Lamar Jackson was able to find Marquise Brown for a long touchdown grab in the second quarter to give the Ravens a lead they would never relinquish.
Now, Denver heads on the road to face the struggling Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. Ben Roethlisberger has been downright awful to start this season, and the Steelers fell to 1-3 on Sunday with a loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Can Denver pick up a bounce-back win on the road? Or do Roethlisberger and the Steelers get their season back on track?

Broncos vs. Steelers Prediction and Pick
It’s too early to tell who will be under center for the Broncos with Bridgewater in the league’s concussion protocol, so I’m going to look at the total in this one.
The Steelers have scored just 44 points over the last three weeks, and they’ll face a tough Broncos defense in Week 5 that has shown it can beat bad teams.
Denver may be forced to roll with Drew Lock, who put up zero points in the second half against Baltimore, making this the perfect storm to take the under. Roethlisberger-Lock would be one of the worst quarterback matchups of the season, and while the total is set at just 40.0, the only two games that either team has played with a total over 40 came in Pittsburgh losses to good offenses (Las Vegas Raiders and Green Bay Packers).
It’s not a flashy pick, but I think it's the bet to make in this matchup.
