Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction and Odds: Raptors Get Elusive Win at Home
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Brooklyn Nets have won four games in a row and will look to extend their streak to five today in Toronto against the Raptors.
The Nets defeated the Detroit Pistons on Friday, 96-90. Kevin Durant led the way in scoring with 29 points. Today will be the second game of a six-game road trip for Brooklyn.
The Toronto Raptors will return forward Pascal Siakam to the lineup tonight, but will limit his minutes, according to head coach Nick Nurse.
The Raptors are only 2-4 at home this season, losing at Scotiabank Arena once again last night to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 102-101.

Nets vs. Raptors Prediction and Pick
For some reason, the Raptors can’t get it done at home.
Toronto is 29th in the NBA in pace, averaging less possessions per game than most teams, so if they don’t play solid defensive basketball and keep their opponent from filling the basket frequently, then it can be hard for this Raptors team to keep up.
Brooklyn has also been a solid defensive basketball team of late, allowing just 96.3 points per game in their last three contests. Despite their issues at home, Toronto is allowing only 95.2 points per game on their home court.
With a full bench today, and Brooklyn on a lengthy road trip, I like the Raptors to bounce back tonight against the Nets. It should be a low-scoring game.
