The Cleveland Browns’ COVID-19 outbreak has continued this week, as two important pieces, quarterback Baker Mayfield and head coach Kevin Stefanski reportedly have tested positive.
Browns’ QB Baker Mayfield has tested positive for COVID-19, sources tell @FieldYates, @ByKimberleyA and me. Unless he produces two negative tests between Saturday, he’s out vs. Raiders.

HC Kevin Stefanski has also tested positive.
He recently disclosed that he has gotten the booster; still a chance he’s back for Saturday’s game vs the #Raiders
The Browns opened this week as a six-point favorite against the Las Vegas Raiders at WynnBET, but that line moved to -3 on Tuesday when several players were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Now, with Mayfield and Stefanski in danger of missing Saturday’s game, the Browns now 2.5-point underdogs (!) against Las Vegas.
Raiders vs. Browns Updated Odds, Spread and Total
Spread:
- Raiders: -2.5 (-110)
- Browns: +2.5 (-110)
Moneyline:
- Raiders: -135
- Browns: +115
Total:
- 39 (Over -110/Under -110)
This game has major playoff implications for both teams, as the Browns are just a game out of the AFC North division lead following their win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14.
As for the Raiders, who are currently 6-7, a win in Week 15 would keep their playoff hopes alive, especially in a crowded AFC West.
Mayfield could still play in Saturday's game if he produces two negative tests by Saturday, but it’s looking like Case Keenum will be under center for Cleveland.
Browns’ QB Baker Mayfield is said to “feel completely normal”, per a source, but he has tested positive for COVID. Now Case Keenum is in line to start Saturday vs. the Raiders, with Nick Mullens as his backup.
