The Cleveland Browns are staying afloat with Jacoby Brissett as their quarterback early in the season, and Brissett played especially well on Thursday night against Pittsburgh. Though Brissett is still a career backup and going head-to-head with Marcus Mariota who has a starting job for the first time since the start of 2019.

The Atlanta Falcons are loaded with pass catching weapons on offense and the Browns kill you on the ground, but both teams have been a part of high scoring affairs through three weeks.

Cleveland opened as three point favorites, but now are only favored by one in most books. The line is moving towards Atlanta and the total is coming down from 48 to 47.5.

Browns vs. Falcons Best Bet and Prediction

I absolutely love that the total is coming down even though it was only a half a point. I liked this game at 48 and obviously still like it at 47.5. These teams have each played three games this year and all six of those games have gone over their total. They might not seem like high powered offenses, but Cleveland might have the best rushing attack in football and the Falcons have a lot of options for Mariota.

Drake London has been leading the team in receiving yards this year, but thankfully, last week Arthur Smith began to include Kyle Pitts in the game plan. Now that they have that figured out it opens up this offense even more and makes the Falcons legitimately dangerous. There are questions in the Browns secondary that Pittsburgh was not able to take advantage of, but we saw Joe Flacco throw for 307 yards and four touchdowns in Week 2.

Atlanta has allowed the sixth most rush yards this season and they haven’t exactly faced a gauntlet of rushing attacks. Cleveland is No. 1 in football with 5.1 yards per carry and has the fourth most rushing yards in the league. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt will both have a big day and the over is still the right play in this game.

Pick: Over 47.5 (-110)
