With respect to the Baltimore Ravens, the Cleveland Browns are making a case as the NFL's best preseason team.

The Browns are 11-4 against the spread (ATS) in their last 15 preseason games, going 13-2 outright in that stretch. Obviously, there's an ugly stench around the team with the disgusting, abhorrent commitment to Deshaun Watson, but Cleveland seems optimistic it can stay focused.

Jacksonville has its own bad stench to eradicate after the Urban Meyer era ended in embarrassment. Doug Pederson brings a winning pedigree to the organization, though the Jaguars are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight preseason contests.

Let's gander at the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook to find the value in this Browns vs Jaguars matchup:

Browns vs Jaguars Prediction and Pick

Everything about the Cleveland Browns makes me feel sad and gross. Acquiring Deshaun Watson and then signing him to a contract with the most fully guaranteed money in NFL history deserves severe punishment from the football gods.

Thus, I don't care that the Browns are an elite preseason team and the Jaguars stink. I'm rolling with Jacksonville, and there's some on-the-field reasons to feel good about Doug Pederson's new club as well.

Trevor Lawrence should immediately improve after an offseason away from Urban Meyer, though I'm most excited for Travis Etienne. He's looked like a star in camp and I can't wait to see how Pederson utilizes him.

After taking time away from football to mentally reset, I think Pederson comes out firing in his first game action in well over a year.

Look for the Jaguars to win at home as Lawrence showcases the ability that made him one of the most highly-coveted quarterbacks we've seen in quite some time.

Pick: Jaguars -1.5 (-110)
