Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are back on track after dropping two straight games to the New Orleans Saints and the Washington Football Team. Their previous win was an impressive, hard-fought game against the Colts 38-31. Bucs RB Leonard Fournette had 100 yards rushing and three touchdowns. He added 31 yards and a TD off seven catches. Rob Gronkowski led all receivers with 123 yards.

The Atlanta Falcons moved to 5-6 last week with a 21-14 victory over the Jaguars in Jacksonville. As was the case with the Bucs, Atlanta was led by their running back in the win. Cordarrelle Patterson rushed for 108 yards and 2 scores with two catches for 27 yards.

With two future Hall-of-Fame quarterbacks and such dynamic runners, despite a double digit spread, this could be one of the more exciting games in Week 13.

Buccaneers vs. Falcons Prediction and Pick

Despite the odds shifting in the Bucs favor with the spread up a half-point since earlier in the week I still like them in this spot.

The Bucs already beat up on the Falcons 48-25 in Week 2, but looking over the Falcons’ season since that loss, one aspect jumps out to me. The Falcons' five wins have come against the Giants, Jets, Dolphins, Saints, and Jaguars. Not only are all five of those teams heading towards losing seasons but four out of the five are objectively bad teams. The Falcons may be one win away from a .500 record, but none of their wins have come anyone decent. Mind you, the Jaguars out-gained the Falcons in the loss and finished over 56% positively on 3rd down.

The Bucs aren’t an amazing road team but the Falcons are just 1-4 at home and I think will suffer their second big loss to the Bucs.

Pick: Buccaneers -11.0 (-110) /  Lean: Over 50.5
