The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were shutout by the Saints in Week 15, but they bounced back in a big way in Week 16, downing the Panthers by a final score of 32-6.

They'll aim for a similar result in Week 17 when they head to MetLife stadium to take on the lowly New York Jets, a team that Tom Brady is extremely familiar with from his time with New England.

The Jets squeaked out a win against the Jaguars last week, but have a tall order infront of them if they want to extend their win streak to two.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for this interconference showdown.

Buccaneers vs. Jets Prediction and Pick

Our own Reed Wallach broke down why he likes the Jets on Monday morning's episode of Bet & Breakfast, and I have to say that I agree with him.

If the Bucs didn't get shutout by a below average Saints team two weeks ago, the argument could be made that this might be an overlook spot for them and that the Jets might be able to keep it close. After the ugly loss to New Orleans, I don't think Tom Brady and company will be looking past any opponent.

The Jets secondary ranks among the worst in the NFL this season. They're 30th in opponent yards per pass attempt, giving up an average of 7.6 yards per throw. Now they face the greatest quarterback of all time and the defending Super Bowl champs.

Even with the injuries and inactives that Tampa Bay is dealing with, there is no way I can back the Jets in this matchup.

Pick: Bucs -13
