Buccaneers vs. Rams: Odds, Spread, Over/Under and Prediction for NFL Week 3
Arguably the best game of the NFL slate in Week 3 is when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams.
The game is worthy of a prime time slot, but it’s currently set to kickoff at 4:25pm ET on Sunday, September 26th. Both teams will enter the game with a 2-0 straight up record, but a 1-1 record against the spread.
The Rams beat the Buccaneers in the regular season last year, taking them down 27-24 in Week 11. They are the second last team to beat the Bucs. After losing to the Chiefs by the same score in the following week, the Buccaneers have gone on a win streak that has continued through the Super Bowl and into the first two weeks of the 2021 season.
This could be a preview of this season’s NFC Championship Game.

Buccaneers vs. Rams Prediction and Pick
Everyone loves to talk about how dominant the Kansas City Chiefs offense, but this Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense might be even more impressive. They’ve scored at least 30 points in nine straight games dating back to Week 15 of last season, and are the highest scoring offense through the first two weeks putting up an average of 39.5 points.
The Rams have looked impressive through the first two weeks, but this will be Matthew Stafford’s first real test against a strong defense since joining the Rams. This will be a true heat check for Los Angeles, who has looked like a Super Bowl contender through the first two weeks.
With that being said, I have to back the Bucs on the moneyline at -115 in this one, in what is essentially a pick’em spot.
Tampa Bay hasn’t missed a step since last year’s Super Bowl winning campaign, and Tom Brady and his offense is able to seemingly score at will. The Rams offense will need to put up 30+ points on this Bucs defense to keep pace with Tampa Bay, and I’m just not sure that they’ll be able to do it.
Don’t let home field advantage sway you too much in this one, as the Bucs have dominated on the road in recent history. Their last road loss came in Week 5 of the 2020 season when they fell to the Chicago Bears 20-19.
Give me the Bucs at -115 on the moneyline in what will be a must-watch game on Sunday afternoon.
