The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had it pretty easy against the Cowboys on Sunday Night. They were able to ease Tom Brady back from his plastic surgery during training camp with a great defensive performance. The Saints had a tougher time against Atlanta with a 17 point fourth quarter for a massive comeback win.

Brady has struggled with the Saints since getting to Tampa Bay, but will the trend continue with two new head coaches in the NFC South.

Buccaneers vs. Saints Prediction and Pick

The entire storyline going into this one is going to be the fact that Brady is 0-4 against New Orleans in the regular season since getting to Tampa Bay. Brady did beat them when it mattered in the playoffs, but that was thanks to a Jared Cook fumble.

Last year Dennis Allen’s defense shutout Brady for the first time in his career. Allen clearly has a recipe for success against the Bucs offense, which could again be down Chris Godwin and possibly others who got banged up in Week 1. The Bucs won 19-3 because of great defense and a great running game. Leonard Fournette went 21 for 127 on the ground and that could be the recipe again.

The Saints allowed Cordarelle Patterson to run for 120 and a touchdown and Mariota added 72 on the ground. Jameis Winston figured out the offense down the stretch, but that was the Falcons being the Falcons and blowing another massive fourth quarter lead.

It’s early in the week and I want to see how the line moves and what the injury situation is, but for right now I just think Tom Brady is Tom Brady, no matter how much botox he gets, and Tom Brady will not go 0-5 against the Saints. Especially the Jameis Winston/Dennis Allen Saints.

Pick: Buccaneers -2.5 (-120)
