The Pittsburgh Steelers are a shell of their former selves, and Mike Tomlin is in danger of having his first losing season as head coach.

The Buccaneers haven't looked their normal selves either, but they're still 3-2 on the season and in control of the NFC South.

The two teams will face each other in an NFL Week 6 interconference showdown. Let's dive into the odds for the game, as well as my best bet and prediction.

Buccaneers vs. Steelers Prediction and Pick

Neither offense has been good this season, especially the Steelers. They rank 30th in yards per play this season, averaging just 4.8 yards per snap. Meanwhile, Tom Brady and Tampa Bay hasn't had the explosive offensive we've come to expect. The Bucs rank 20th in yards per play this season, averaging just 5.3 yards per snap.

Where the difference lies between these teams, is their defenses. The Buccaneers sport one of the best defensive units in the NFL They rank fourth in opponent yards per play, while the Steelers are 24th in that category. We should no longer look at the Steelers as a good defensive team, because they are far from that.

More notably, they rank 26th in opponent yards per pass attempt. The Buccaneers get 80.45% of their offensive yards through the air, the most in the NFL. So, if you hope to keep it close with them, you have to be able to shut down their pass attack. The Steelers have proven they can't do that, so that makes Tampa Bay the bet to make in this one.
