Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hit the road off a bye with two weeks to prepare for the Washington Football Team. They will be coming into FedEx Field hot after a gut-wrenching loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8. That loss dropped their record to 6-2 overall but with an ATS record of just 3-5.

Washington is also coming off a bye but also on a four-game losing streak where they were also 0-4 against the spread (ATS). The offense for this team was never going to be great, but they look more like a pop-warner team right now than an NFL offense. They have barely averaged 11.0 ppg during their slide and look lost with the ball.

Here are the odds for this Week 10 matchup between the Bucs and WFT, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Buccaneers vs. Washington Prediction and Pick

It’s hard to believe that the last time these two teams met was in the NFC Wild Card Game on Jan. 8.  The Bucs being in that game makes sense but Washington? It’s crazy to consider that this team was almost a playoff team just a season ago.

But, times have changed and the WFT is nowhere near as competitive as they were in 2020. The Bucs beat them in that game 31-23 en route to a Super Bowl Championship. Washington covered as 10-point underdogs and sent the game total over.

This week it will be more of the same with the Bucs opening as 10-point favorites on the road. What has changed is that Washington is barely competing while the Bucs are still expected to contend for the Super Bowl.

While I do think that the Bucs win this game rather easily, that doesn’t mean I expect them to run up the score. Tampa Bay, for all their wins this season, hasn’t impressed in terms of ATS wins. A 3-5 ATS record doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.

The Bucs are a far better team but their defense is suspect and vulnerable to a back-end cover by Washington.

Pick:: Washington Football Team +10.0 (-110)
