The 38-25 Milwaukee Bucks defeated Chicago 94-90 in January and hope for a similar result when they take on the 39-24 Bulls tonight at 7:30 PM EST.

Milwaukee has won two straight, including a dramatic comeback over Miami Wednesday, but are just 1-6 against the spread (ATS) in their last seven contests. The Bulls, meanwhile, have lost three straight as DeMar DeRozan has cooled off a bit from his otherworldly play.

Will the Bucks take advantage of a slumping Chicago or should we back the Bulls as a modest home underdog?

Let's check out the odds via WynnBET:

Bucks vs Bulls Odds, Spread and Total

Spread

  • Milwaukee -5 (-110)
  • Chicago +5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Milwaukee: -200
  • Chicago: +165

Total:

  • 240 (Over -110/Under -110)

Bucks vs Bulls Prediction and Pick

I love this spot for the Bulls. Prior to this three-game skid, they had covered the spread in six of seven and they should bounce back tonight against a Bucks squad that's just 3-4 outright in their last seven, including losses to Portland and Brooklyn.

This line just screams of disrespect to Chicago. Just last month, the Bucks were 4-point road favorites against the Lakers and 5-point road favorites over the Clippers. You're telling me the scrubs in Los Angeles are on the same level as the Bulls? Get real.

Every good team goes through a slump. As bettors, we just have to recognize that and avoid putting too much emphasis on recent performance. Sure, Chicago has lost three straight. So what? Milwaukee hasn't been any good lately either, so why does it matter?

The Bulls have been the best spread bet at home in the entire league. They're 23-11 ATS in Chicago and 37-26-1 overall, while the Bucks are just 3-5 ATS in their last eight road games and are 27-37 overall.

Give me the home team to keep it close and I think the moneyline odds are worth a look too. This is a huge game with Eastern Conference playoff seeding implications and I think we get Chicago's best effort.

Pick: Bulls +5 (-110)
