Bucks vs. Kings Prediction and Odds (Sacramento's Defense Is Nowhere Near Good Enough to Slow Milwaukee)
By Matt De Saro
With right around a dozen games left in the regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks have to be gearing up for another playoff run. The defending champions are not having the most amazing.
Their recent record suggests that they are not taking their foot off the go-pedal with a 7-1 record in their last eight games. It's crazy to think but the Bucks might be hitting their stride with just a few weeks left in the season. They trail the Miami Heat by 2.5 games in the Eastern Conference and appear hell-bent on getting that No. 1 seed.
The Kings, on the other hand, are 25-45 and currently 13th in the West. They are 3.5 games out of the last playoff spot that is currently held by the Pelicans. But, the Trail Blazers and Spurs are also gunning for that last spot.
The Kings are falling apart down the stretch and have just one win in March so far. They have been beaten recently by the Spurs, Thunder, and Knicks. All pretty bad teams. Doesn’t bode well for their chances to cover tonight.

Bucks vs. Kings Prediction and Pick
Going to try and make this short and sweet as my confidence for this game is high. I will admit that the Kings have been doing well against the spread as underdogs in recent action. They are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games as underdogs and 12-10 on the year as a home dog. And while that is all well and good, we’re talking about them trying to beat the reigning champs.
A Bucks team that is streaking right now and looks motivated to take their momentum all the way to the NBA finals. Meanwhile, the Kings are just hoping not to suck so much that they fall out of the race for the No. 10 spot in the West. Very different motivations.
The Kings' defense has no shot to slow this team down, let alone stop them. Sacramento has the second-best scoring defense in the league and ranks poorly in almost every defensive metric I could find. They are even one of the worst teams in the league in both drawing and committing fouls. The Bucks have the fourth-best scoring offense and snag 54.7 rebounds per game. The Kings are dead in the water even if they don’t know it yet.
Prediction: Bucks -8.5 (-110)
