The Buffalo Bills are the Super Bowl favorites for the 2022 season, looking to rebound from a brutal playoff exit in the 2021 campaign.

Buffalo didn’t need to add much to its roster, but the additions of linebacker Von Miller and rookie corner Kaiir Elam should make the Bills’ defense even better, and hopefully it doesn’t collapse in the final seconds of a game… again.

Josh Allen is the favorite to win the league’s MVP award, and he’s expected to have a monster year in an offense that features Stefon Diggs, Dawson Knox and fantasy football darling Gabe Davis.

Let’s jump into the Bills’ offseason moves, schedule and futures prices for the 2022 campaign:

Buffalo Bills Offseason Moves, Signings and Coaching Changes

  • Waived P Matt Araiza
  • Signed WR Jamison Crowder
  • Signed LB Von Miller
  • Signed G Roger Saffold
  • Signed DE Shaq Lawson
  • Drafted CB Kaiir Elam in the first round.
  • Drafted RB James Cook.
  • Named Ken Dorsey offensive coordinator to replace Brian Daboll.

Buffalo Bills 2022 Schedule

The Bills open the 2022 season in primetime against the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football.

Could that be a Super Bowl 57 preview?

That’s one of several primetime games for Buffalo, who’s toughest stretch of the season comes from Week 3 to Week 8, with games against the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.

The Bills are expected to handle business in the division, but they did make things interesting last year with a few head-scratching losses.

Buffalo Bills 2022 Win Total Prediction

  • OVER 11.5 (-140)
  • UNDER 11.5 (+120)

I know there’s a lot of hype around the Bills, but there is no way I’m laying the -140 juice for them to finish with 12 or more wins.

In all honesty, this is probably a stay away for me, but don’t forget that the Bills have failed to win 12 games in two of the last three seasons. The roster is great entering 2022, but the Dolphins and New England Patriots could both be frisky in the division.

The fact that you can get the under at +120 seems valuable to me if you really want to make a pick. The Bills are going to be a really good football team, but with a new offensive coordinator, and improved division and a first-place schedule, the Bills aren’t a lock to go 12-5.

Lean: UNDER 11.5 (+120)

Buffalo Bills 2022 Odds to Win Division, AFC, Super Bowl

  • To Make the Playoffs: YES -750/NO +500
  • Odds to Win AFC East: -240
  • Odds to Win AFC: +280
  • Odds to Win Super Bowl 57: +550

Unless you think the Bills completely flop, there really isn’t much value on any of their futures prices as the AFC favorite.

I wouldn’t take them at +550 to win the Super Bowl, as we noted that tough stretch fro Week 3 through Week 8, plus they have an opening matchup with the Rams.

Buffalo could roll through that, which would make it an even bigger favorite, but if you truly want to bet the Bills, my best advice would be to wait to see if you can get them at a better price.

In a league where one injury can derail a whole season, betting a preseason favorite at +280 or +550 seems like malpractice, no matter how good they are.
