The Golden State Warriors have won six games in a row, capping their current winning streak with a thirteen-point win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Forward Andrew Wiggins scored a season-high 35 points in the win.

The Warriors are 10-1 this season, and are in first-place in the West.

The Golden State Warriors offense will steal all of the headlines, with Steph Curry and whatnot, but it’s their defense that has been stealing them some wins. The Warriors defense is second in the NBA in points allowed per game, first in opponent field goal percentage, and sixth in defensive rebounds per game. 

Now, if we look at who the Warriors have played, it can explain why their numbers are so good. In their first 11 games, Golden State has played the Oklahoma City Thunder twice, the New Orleans Pelicans, the Charlotte Hornets, the struggling Atlanta Hawks and the Houston Rockets. That’s more than half their schedule so far. 

This Bulls team is in a better condition than much of the Warriors previous opponents, but it can be a nice showcase for how good the Warriors really are. 

Both Chicago and Golden State are in the top three in the NBA in bench scoring. This should be a close entertaining matchup, and the Bulls could give the Warriors trouble at home.
