The Indianapolis Colts just earned their most impressive and important win of the season, beating the New England Patriots 27-17 Saturday night.

Surprisingly, their Super Bowl odds haven't moved over at WynnBET, remaining at +3000. That's a great price for a team with all the qualities to make a deep playoff run.

Over the last three games, the Colts' offense is averaging 29.7 points per game and 190.3 rushing yards per game, both top 6 in the NFL. Their defense is giving up just 18.3 points per game and only 288.3 total yards per game, likewise among the elite of the league. Equally important when thinking of making a playoff run, their defense is forcing a league-best 2.3 turnovers per game this season. These are all great attributes in a win-on-go-home situation.

The key to this whole thing is Carson Wentz. He can't turn the ball over. He's had four turnovers in the Colts' last four games, including a three-turnover game against the Bucs, which Indianapolis lost 38-31.

But that loss actually inspired more hope than disappointment for me. The Colts almost beat the defending champion Bucs despite three turnovers from Wentz. If he cleans those up, the Colts will be in a spot to upset the top teams in the AFC playoffs, which is as wide open as it's been in years.

Outside of the surging Chiefs, the other top seeds (Titans, Colts, Ravens [for now]) inspire no fear. In fact, The Chiefs biggest weakness on defense is rush defense, which is good for the Colts. They are arguably the best rushing team in the NFL because they have the best running back. Which is why this Colts team reminds me of the 2019 Titans, a sixth seed that made it to the AFC Championship. They had the best running back in the NFL, a strong offensive line and a defense that can force turnovers. That's exactly what the Colts have now in Jonathan Taylor, their offensive line and defense.

Now, you can point out that the Titans didn't win that Super Bowl. Fair enough. But at +3000 odds, it's hard to find a team with more favorable odds that has a better shot to win it all than the Colts.

In Week 16, the Colts travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals. That will be a litmus test for this team. But if they win, their Super Bowl odds at WynnBET are likely to surge and you'll have missed your opportunity to get a better price on their Super Bowl chances. I wouldn't go overboard, but a little sprinkle at +3000 makes sense to me.
