No. 19 Arizona State will go on the road in what may be its toughest matchup so far this season against the No. 23 BYU Cougars. 

BYU upset Utah (who was No. 21 in the country) in Week 2 with a 26-17 victory, and Jaren Hall will look to lead his team to another win over an AP Top 25 opponent this week. 

Hall had three touchdown passes to go with eight carries for 92 yards in Week 2, showing BYU fans that life after Zach Wilson is pretty good. 

Arizona State finds itself in a Pac 12 that has been surprisingly solid this season, as Oregon upset Ohio State in Week 2 and the UCLA Bruins started the season 2-0 before having a bye in Week 2.

The Cougars have been impressive this season in the first year without Wilson, who was the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, and I think they take this one as a home underdog. 

BYU is 22-10 at home since the 2016 season, and I think that oddsmakers are giving Arizona State a little too much respect in this matchup. The Sun Devils did blow out UNLV and Southern Utah but neither of those teams is as talented as the Cougars. 

BYU showed it is for real with a win over Utah last week, and they might be my favorite upset pick this week. Give me the Cougars to get the win at home.
