BYU may not be an elite defense, 86th in success rate, but I can't trust this Notre Dame offense with Drew Pyne under center. The Irish were able to breakthrough against a UNC defense that is outside the top 100.

Overall, Notre Dame is 112th in EPA/Play on offense and will be outgunned against Hall and the BYU offense that has battled injuries and still shined on offense, rating 39th in EPA/Play.

I make Notre Dame a one-point favorite in this game on a neutral so I'm going to take the inflated point spread as just two weeks ago this team closed an underdog at North Carolina and also struggled to move the ball against Marshall and Cal.

BYU's offense will be able to offset their defensive woes and keep this game inside of a field goal, if not win this game outright.
