BYU vs. USC Pick and Prediction
This is an over play for me. Last week we saw Dorian Thompson-Robinson light up the USC defense to the tune of 62 points, and the Cougars have a dynamic dual threat quarterback in Jaren Hall.
Hall has completed 64% of his passes with an 18 touchdown to 3 interception ratio, while also rushing for over five yards per carry.
BYU has scored 34 or more points five time this season and I expect them to put up any number they desire against a hapless USC defense. The Trojans are 118th in defensive success rate and are allowing more than six yards per play. They can't stop anyone.
On the other side, USC's offense should have no issues against BYU's defense who allowed 49 points to a high octane passing offense in Virginia a few weeks back. USC's 21st in offensive success rate and has the weapons on the outside to put up points against the Cougars defense that is 100th in success rate.
USC may be on quit watch, but at the very least they should do their part to contribute to the over, which is my best bet for this matchup.
PICK: OVER 64.5
