BYU vs. USC Prediction and Odds for Wednesday, November 23 (Are Trojans Undervalued?)
By Reed Wallach
USC and BYU will each look to get on track with a signature win against one another in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
USC lost their opening game at home to Florida Gulf Coast, but then won three straight games to get back on track, but the offense is still concerning as the team is turning the ball over and struggling to get over from three. They start their MTE run against BYU, who is replacing star guard Alex Barcello, but are off to a 3-1 start against a soft schedule
Here are the odds for this early evening matchup:

USC vs. BYU Prediction and Pick
I'm going to buy some positive regression for USC that is getting fine play from wing Drew Peterson, who has become a lead ball handler for a group, possting the fifth highest assist rate in the country. However, the normally sharp shooting Peterson is shooting 27% from three, down from 41% and 38% over the last two seasons.
Meanwhile, BYU's offense has struggled to transition from Barcello, posting a turnover rate of near-26% this season, which checks in at 354th in the country. They also will struggle against the size of USC, who shuts down the interior, allowing teams to shoot below 40% on two-point tries.
I think this is a great buy low spot on USC, who should get some shooting regression from the likes of Peterson, while BYU is still looking to figure out their identity.
