This can be beneficial against a UCLA defense that is outside the top 90 in defensive success rate and don't make a ton of big plays in the backfield, just 64 tackles for loss this season.

On the other side, the Bruins offense has one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the country in Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who can pick up chunk plays with both his arms and legs, but Cal does a great job of limiting explosive runs, top half of the nation in that metric and only allow about five yards per play.
