It’s hard to imagine a pitcher's MLB debut going better than Alek Manoah’s did last Thursday. The rookie arm for the Toronto Blue Jays went six scoreless innings against the New York Yankees, while surrendering only two hits, two walks and striking out seven batters.

Monoah will get his second start for the Blue Jays tonight when they take on the Miami Marlins in an interleague matchup.
WynnBET has player props posted for tonight’s game, and they have Manoah’s strikeout total set at 5.5 with the over (-125) favored to the under (-108).
With Manoah coming off a seven strikeout debut, I love the over on his strikeout prop tonight.
Miami’s strikeout rate should also be an encouraging sign for anyone who wants to take the over. The Marlins rank 26th in Major League Baseball in team strikeout percentage, striking out on 27% of plate appearances.
The 23-year old was called up to the Blue Jays starting rotation after surrendering only one run through three starts with their AAA affiliate Buffalo Bison. Manoah was drafted by the Jays with the 11th overall pick in the 2019 MLB Amateur Draft. If he can keep up this level of play, he'll be a great addition to Toronto's rotation alongside Hyun Jin Ryu.

Manoah will be facing off against Marlins righty, Pablo Lopez, who has also looked fantastic in recent starts. Lopez has only allowed four runs over in 19 innings over his past three starts, and he sports a solid 2.71 ERA heading into tonight’s game.
WynnBET has the Blue Jays set as -165 road favorites (bet $165 to win $100) against the Marlins (+135), and the total is set at eight runs.
