The Tampa Bay Lightning fell in Game 1 to the New York Rangers by a surprising final score of 6-2.

Due to the loss, WynnBET Sportsbook has now flipped the odds to win the series, and the Lightning are now +108 underdogs to win the Eastern Conference Final, and the Rangers are -128 favorites.

Despite the result, Lightning fans and bettors shouldn't worry too much considering the current trend they're on after a loss.

Lightning are 19-0 After Their Last 19 Playoff Losses

It's one of the most unbelievable active trends in the NHL right now. The Lightning, dating back to the 2020 postseason, are 19-0 after a loss in the playoffs.

Already this postseason, they're 3-0 after a loss. They responded with a win after losing each of the three games they lost against the Maple Leafs in the opening round. Luckily for them, this trend wasn't tested in the second round. They swept the Panthers 4-0.

WynnBET Sportsbook expects them to have a good chance to extend this trend to 20-0. They have them set as -125 favorites in Game 2, which is set to take place on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
