Canada vs. Jamaica Prediction and Odds (Canada Primed for a Bounce Back Match at Home)
By Matt De Saro
Canada hosts Jamaica on Sunday in CONCACAF 2022 World Cup Qualifying action at BMO Field. Despite being a long shot at +20000 to win the World Cup, Canada is heavily favored against Jamaica. Canada suffered their first loss of qualifying last week when they lost a tight game to Costa Rica 1-0. It’s worth noting that Canada was on the wrong end of one of the worst red cards I have seen in quite some time. In the 34th minute, Mark-Anthony Kaye was ejected for an off-the-ball foul. Canada was forced to play with 10 men on the field for the rest of the game and never quite recovered.
Jamaica, meanwhile, is already out of the running to qualify for the World Cup and most recently played to a draw against El Salvador. Canada has won the last four times these teams met and I don’t see it going any different on Sunday.
Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of WynnBET.

Canada vs. Jamaica Prediction and Pick
Canada saw their six-game winning streak snapped by Costa Rican and hope to get back in the win column against Jamaica. But I am not too worried about that loss. Canada is still riding an 11 game winning streak at home in FIFA World Cup qualifiers and should bounce back nicely from their disappointing loss to CR. Jamaica hasn't won a game in their last seven times out and has a single win in their last 15 matches. I don’t see a world where Canada loses two games in a row to below-average teams. Especially with this game taking place on their home turf.
There is no value on the money line in this game so I will be turning to the Asian Handicap to bump up our potential payout.
PICK: Canada -2 (+200) Asian Handicap
