Cardinals vs. Bears Updated Odds and Prediction: What Bettors Need to Know
By Matt De Saro
The Chicago Bears finally got back in the win column last week after dropping five games straight. They accomplished this by being the lucky team to play the Detroit Lions in Week 12.
The Lions have yet to win a game this season and barely missed their first against the Bears 16-13. It was the second time the Bears beat the Lions this season with their other two wins coming against the Raiders and Bengals. So, 50% of the Bears’ wins this season have come over a team that hasn’t won a game since last year.
The Arizona Cardinals will be well-rested coming off a very well-timed bye week. Both Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins are dealing with nagging injuries, and the time off could be just what they need.

Cardinals vs. Bears Prediction and Pick
This game has “easy win” written all over it for Arizona. Not only are they a far better team, but they will be rested and hopefully healthy. The Bears, on the other hand, are also dealing with a quarterback injury to Justin Fields. Fields cracked a rib and were forced to sit out in the Bears win over the Lions. He was replaced by Andy Dalton who went 24-for-39 with 317 yards, one TD, and one INT.
Matt Nagy has stated numerous times that when Fields is healthy, he will be the starter. As of now, we know that Fields was a limited participant in practice yesterday and Dalton took the first-team reps.
The Cardinals aren’t out of the woods yet in terms of the injuries to Hopkins and Murray but both practiced yesterday without incident. Arizona went 2-1 SU without Murray so it wouldn’t be the end of the world if he doesn’t play. But, all signs point to him being ready to roll.
Hopkins is more of a question mark as it stands. This still leaves Murray with a ton of weapons on an offense that is leading the NFL in yards per pass attempt at 8.5. The Bears meanwhile allowed Jared Goff to complete 21 passes and throw two touchdowns. The Cardinals are susceptible to a strong ground game but the Bears don’t have the personnel to keep up with this offense.
Pick: Cardinals -7.5 (-110)
