The 4-3 Milwaukee Brewers host the 3-2 St. Louis Cardinals in the second-game of a four-game set tonight at 8:10 PM EST.

Milwaukee won the series opener 5-1 behind an excellent outing from Brandon Woodruff and now will send Freddy Peralta to the mound to take on Miles Mikolas of St. Louis.

Both pitchers were unimpressive in their first starts of the season, with Peralta giving up three runs over four innings and Mikolas surrendering two runs and six hits over 3.2 innings.

Which pitcher will bounce back today and where does the value lie in this divisional matchup? Perhaps value lies on the total instead of picking a side?

Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook to help us find out as we preview this Cardinals vs Brewers matchup:

Cardinals vs Brewers Prediction and Pick

I love Brewers games. Their offense is terrible but their pitching staff is incredible, giving the under a ton of value in a lot of their games. It's hit in four straight as they've limited opponents to just nine runs in that span.

We should see Peralta keep the under vibes going today. He's a strikeout pitcher and the Cardinals have been fantastic at putting the ball in play, but he's performed well against St. Louis in the past and will want to put last week's start behind him.

Mikolas is a bit of a mixed bag, but he held the Brewers to five runs over 12.2 innings in two starts last year and with how bad Milwaukee's offense has been, I think he can do his part.

Stud reliever Josh Hader didn't pitch for the Brewers yesterday so he'll be available, and both teams have top-five rankings in bullpen ERA so far in 2022.

With two bad offenses, two good starters and two elite bullpens, I love the value on the under. Look for the under to hit for the fifth straight Brewers contest.

Pick: Under 8.0 (+100)
