The Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons have both been eliminated from playoff contention, which means the only way we can make this game exciting to watch, is to put a little bit of money on the line.

So let's do exactly that.

But how should we wager on an irrelevant battle of the birds? That's what I'm here to answer.

First things first. Let's dive into the odds.

Cardinals vs. Falcons Odds, Spread, and Total

Cardinals vs. Falcons Betting Trends

  • The OVER is 6-3 in the Cardinals' last nine games
  • Cardinals are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games
  • Cardinals are 0-9 straight up in last nine games played in Atlanta
  • Falcons are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games
  • The UNDER is 6-1 in the Falcons last seven games
  • Falcons are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games against NFC West opponents

Cardinals vs. Falcons Prediction and Pick

Make no mistake about it, these two teams stink.

But, the Falcons have had some bright spot that they can lean on and I think they're a lot better than their recent 1-6 record over their last seven games shows. They're 17th in yards per play and Desmond Ridder has taken significant steps in each of his first two games. He completed 22-of-33 passes for 218 yards. He has also yet to throw an interception this season.

Running back, Tyler Allgeier has also snapped in recent weeks. He's averaging 4.9 yards per carry this season and they should be able to lean on him in this matchup against the Cardinals.

The Cardinals have struggled to stop the run all season, ranking 23rd in opponent yards per carry. As a whole, their defense has been on a bottom 10 unit in every facet, and they don't have an offense to lean on to help them out.

The Cardinals have averaged only 4.4 yards per play over their last three games, which is the worst mark in the NFL in that stretch. Atlanta should be able to take it to them this week, and their offense will prove it's trending in the right direction.
