There is already trouble in paradise for the Los Angeles Rams, but it might be getting even worse. Matthew Stafford is still working to clear concussion protocols, so LA could be starting John Wolford against Arizona in Week 10. It would be hard to say the Arizona Cardinals were ever in paradise, but there is certainly trouble between Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury right now.

This line has had some movement since Stafford went into concussion protocol, so let’s check out the current odds.

The Rams opened as 6 point favorites in most places, but now are down to just 1 point favorites with Stafford’s status up in the air.

Cardinals vs. Rams Prediction and Best Bet

Sean McVay is a great play caller, but for some reason hasn’t always been the best with the first 15 play script. The offense has been struggling this season, the offensive line has had a lot of injuries and issues, and they have no running game to speak of.

The Rams are running for 3.2 yards per carry, and if Stafford can’t go, they will not be able to lean on Darrell Henderson Jr. or Cam Akers. This offense is averaging only 9.3 first half points in their past three games.

Arizona has also struggled in the first half of games, but I would not call Kliff Kingsbury a great or even good play caller.

Last week they were back to a lifeless first half offense that only managed 7 points. They are 27th in the league in first-half scoring, but that 8.2 points is buoyed by their 28 point first half against New Orleans that included two defensive scores. We have seen two teams make coaching changes already this season and I'm ready for the Cardinals to be the third. Can we please get Kliff Kingsbury off my TV.

This game is going to be ugly, and it loses betting value if John Wolford starts for LA. I’m just going to fade these offenses in the first half and keep it simple.

Pick: First Half Under 20 (-105)
