The 2020 Offensive Player of the Year will face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season.

Derrick Henry became the eighth NFL running back to rush for 2,000 yards last year, and now he’ll try to become the first one to achieve the feat for a second time. With the league extending its schedule to 17 games, accomplishing it isn’t out of the question.

The Tennessee Titans won the AFC South last season with an 11-5 record, but were promptly eliminated from the playoffs, losing to the Baltimore Ravens. They’ll try to return to the postseason for the fourth time in five seasons.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals will try to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2015 when they lost to the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship Game.

Kyler Murray, who battled nagging injuries late in the season last year, will return healthy and focused on leading his team to a winning season.

The Cardinals added receiver A.J. Green in the offseason, and now they have one of the best receiving corps in the NFL with him, DeAndre Hopkins, and Christian Kirk.

Cardinals vs Titans Prediction and Pick

If there was one team that’s going to regress this upcoming season, I’d bet on the Titans being the ones to do so.

Despite going 11-5 and winning their division, they sported one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They were 29th in opponent yards per game, allowing an average of 398.4. Only the Texans, Jaguars, and Lions were worse in that category. They were also near the bottom in several other defensive statistics, including dead last in third down defense.

Kyler Murray was an MVP candidate last season before injuries slowed his momentum, but now that he’s back to being healthy, I can envision him tearing apart this Tennessee defense. The Titans ranked 28th in opponent passing yards per game in 2020, so Nuk should be set up to have a big game.

I’m not even going to bother with the spread, give me the Arizona moneyline at +135.
