Celtics vs. Bulls Prediction and Odds for Monday, October 24 (Boston's Strong Start Continues in Chicago)
By Reed Wallach
The Celtics have not had any NBA Finals hangover to start the 2022-2023 season, in fact they've had the opposite, blitzing the league out of the gates.
Boston is 3-0 to start the year, scoring 126 points in two of their three wins on the year. Jayson Tatum has taken another leap as a scorer, averaging over 34 points per game to start the season. Can he keep it going against a banged up Bulls team that may be in for a long season with key players such as Zach LaVine and Lonzo Ball constantly out due to injury?
Here are the odds for this Eastern Conference matchup:

Celtics vs. Bulls Prediction and Pick
I'm not stepping in front of this Celtics freight train with a Bulls team that is struggling on the offensive end. Chicago is scoring 104 points per 100 possessions, the third worst mark in the league thus far, while Boston is scorching from the field. Led by Tatum, the Celtics are tops in the NBA in points per 100 possessions, putting up a blistering 124 points.
The Bulls did get LaVine back from a lingering knee issue over the weekend, but it's clear that this Chicago offense is a work in progress.
Meanwhile, the Celtics are playing like a well oiled machine on both ends of the floor. The offense is putting up league best marks, while the defense continues to play well in spite of the loss of Robert Williams III. The team has shut down the paint, allowing the fifth lowest points in the paint this season, which should make it hard for the Bulls offense to get going, who are putting up the second lowest effective field goal percentage in the league.
Boston is rolling right now, bet accordingly.
