The Minnesota Vikings continue to struggle late in games, squandering another late lead to the Baltimore Ravens on the road last week to fall to 3-5 on the year. Now, the team travels to Los Angeles to face a Chargers team that got back in the win column on Sunday, beating the Eagles, 27-24.

The Chargers opened as 2.5-point favorites at WynnBET Sportsbook, but has been climbing throughout the week as LAC now sits at -3.

Public sentiment is behind Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense, but Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has been a great bet in the underdog role, going 32-19 against the spread catching points since becoming head coach of Minnesota in 2014.

As well, both teams have played close games all season. Each team has played eight games, and all but three of them have been one-score games. These two only know how to play barnburners, so capturing a key number of three is important if you are planning on betting Minnesota.

However, the psyche of Minnesota has to be questioned. The team lost to Cooper Rush and the Dallas Cowboys in what was thought of as a throw away game for Dallas and blew a double digit lead to the Ravens last week. Can the Chargers finish off the Vikings at home?
