With only eight clubs left, the Champions League is heating up. Real Madrid is looking for revenge from last year’s Champions League semifinal. If Madrid, who is without Cristiano Ronaldo this year, can upset the Blues, the semifinal will be just 90 minutes away. Can Madrid do it?

Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of WynnBET

Chelsea vs. Real Madrid Odds and Over/Under

  • Real Madrid: +285
  • Draw:+238

Over/Under: 2.5 (Over: +115/Under: -140)

Chelsea vs. Real Madrid Prediction and Pick

Chelsea has been solid in the Champions league so far, but they will have to deal with one of the deadliest players in the tournament, Karim Benzema. He’s scored eight goals so far, and is the driving force behind Madrid’s offense. If Chelsea can slow him down, it can keep Madrid in check for most of the night.

The Blues have thrived on their defense for the majority of this tournament. The only time the offense was needed was during the second match with Zenit. I don’t see Chelsea turning the pressure up on offense, so I’ll back Real Madrid.
