The Chiefs and Titans collide in Week 7 in a game between two teams on the upswing. The Chiefs bounced back from a tough loss to the Bills in Week 5 by dismantling the Football Team in Week 6, 31-13.

Meanwhile, the Titans were magical in last night’s Monday Night Football win over the Bills. In a game that I got completely wrong in every way shape or form, the Titans beat the Bills 34-31. Tennessee now has four wins in their last five games and looks poised to challenge for the AFC Championship.

Before we get ahead of ourselves, however, let’s take a look at the odds and trends for this game and pick ourselves a winner.

Here are the odds for this Week 7 AFC rivalry game, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Chiefs vs. Titans Prediction and Pick

The Titans are coming in hot off that big win last night and will be a dangerous team this week. Even for a team as good as the Chiefs. Especially considering Kansas City’s struggles this season.

Sill, the Titans’ defense continues to be just barely good enough to keep them in games. They give up an average of 26.8 points per game which puts them 24th in the league. Lucky for them, the team is averaging 27.8 points per game on offense. But, how long can they continue to win with such a bad defense?

By utilizing the spectacle that is Derrick Henry. In a game that I foolishly faded Henry due to the Bills’ rushing defense, Henry exploded for 143 rushing yards and three touchdowns. While Buffalo is one of the best teams at stopping the rush, KC is one of the worst. The 30th worst to be specific in both rushing yards and TDs allowed per game. So if Henry did what he did to the Bills, imagine what he will do to the Chiefs.

KC is not lacking weapons of their own and I fully expect them to be on display this weekend. This is because Tennesee’s defense is sketchy at best as alluded to above. They allow 384 yards per game allowed to opposing offenses and have had a few close calls because their defense just can’t keep it together for a full game.

With all of this offense on tap and not the best in terms of defense, it feels like a bet on the total is compulsory.

The last time Henry faced the Chiefs he ran for 188 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns. He will be a problem for this defense that they don’t have a solution to. The same goes for Patrick Mahomes and the Chief's passing attack on the other side.

I’m not letting this 57-point total scare me off taking the over in this game.

Prediction: Chiefs vs Titans OVER 57.0 (-110)
