Chiefs vs. Washington: Odds, Spread, Over/Under and Prediction for NFL Week 6
By Matt De Saro
I doubt many expected that Kansas City and Washington would have the same 2-3 record when they met for this game. But, after a loss in last year’s Super Bowl, it seems the Chiefs might be carrying some negativity that is affecting their season.
It's not as if there are significant injuries keeping them from winning. Despite this, on paper, the Chiefs are a far superior team. So, its no wonder that they are still double digital favorites in spite of their recent struggles.
Here are the odds for the game at WynnBET Sportsbook:

Chiefs vs Washington Prediction and Pick
The Chiefs are at real risk of missing the playoffs this season if they are not able to turn things around as soon as possible. The reigning NFC Champions looked completely lost and were smoked by the Bills last night on Sunday Night Football 38-20. While most o the blame can be laid on the defense for this one, who let up 436 total yards, the offense was far from smooth.
Patrick Mahomes has been struggling to find a groove with star WR Tyreek Hill or anyone else for that matter. The Chiefs actually started off strong but fell apart in the second quarter.
KC did lose Clyde Edwards-Helaire to a knee injury in the second half and never looked like they were threatening to win at any point after halftime.
Washington has to look similarly lost this season and is coming off a home loss against the Saints 33-22. Much like the Chiefs, New Orleans started off strong and led 13-7 early in the second quarter. Also, like the Chiefs, the Saints totally blew it and gave up a pair of touchdowns before halftime. The team never recovered and the closest the game was after that was 20-16.
This game is a tricky one to pick. You have a team, that on paper, is a legit Super Bowl contender facing off a team that can be described as mediocre at best. Sure, the spread is 10 points in favor of the better team, but have the Chiefs been all that much better than Washington this year? I will say they haven't. Despite losing all but one of the last 10 games between these two teams, I am feeling adventurous this week and will be taking the Washington Football Team to cover +10 as we see KC continue to find its footing in 2021.
