The New Orleans Pelicans are coming off a loss to the Phoenix Suns, but get a chance to bounce back against a struggling Clippers team. Los Angeles has lost several games in a row and are looking for a little bit of success to right its season.

With several of the star players’ statuses up in the air for this game, how should we bet this game between Western Conference contenders?

Let’s dive into the odds.

Clippers vs. Pelicans Odds, Spread and Total

Clippers vs. Pelicans Prediction and Pick

Despite being top five in defense, the Clippers are 25th in net rating. That’s how bad their offense has been this year. Los Angeles is 29th in offensive rating, only above the Lakers. They will struggle on Sunday as well, with Kawhi Leonard’s status for the game still unknown.

New Orleans is top three in offense, and it might be getting Zion Williamson back for this contest. If the Pelicans are somewhat healthy, I like them in this matchup. Their offense is more potent and they’ve been able to avoid losing streaks.

As for the Clippers, they’ve lost three straight games and simply don’t look in sync right now.

I’ll take the Pels to keep the Clippers in their slump on the matinee.

Pick: Pelicans ML (+120)
