Clippers vs. Warriors Prediction and Odds (Can Los Angeles Pull Off Upset?)
By Peter Dewey
The Golden State Warriors nearly upset the Denver Nuggets on Monday night while resting Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson and others, but they ultimately fell short despite 30 points from rookie Moses Moody.
Golden State has been in a major slump, losing five straight and going just 15-16 this season when Draymond Green is out of the lineup. Can that change at home against the Los Angeles Clippers with Curry, Thompson and Wiggins back?
Let’s get into the odds via WynnBET:
Clippers vs. Warriors Odds, Spread and Total
Spread:
- Clippers +5.5 (-110)
- Warriors -5.5 (-110)
Moneyline:
- Clippers: +190
- Warriors: -230
Total:
- 221.5 (Over -110/Under -110)
Clippers vs. Warriors Prediction and Pick
The Warriors have been downright awful as of late, and I’m not sure I want to lay the points with them, even at home, against a Los Angeles Clippers team that has won seven of its last 10 games.
Golden State’s defense has been the major concern, as the Warriors are just 25th in the league in defensive rating over their last 15 games after leading the NBA in the category for most of the season.
I’m going full fade mode of Golden State on the second night of a back-to-back even with Curry and Klay in the lineup.
Lean: Clippers Moneyline (+190)
