A new week brings us a chance to get back on track. Little cold streaks keeps us honest, as evident with my floundering record.

Again, college basketball is a long season with a ton of variance. Those days happen over the course of the winter and I'll keep sticking to my process. No need to change it up.

Column Record: 10-15-2 (-6.5 Units)

Penn State (-2) vs. Rutgers

I got -2.5, so the market may be moving against me, but I still see this as a good spot to sell high on Rutgers.

The Scarlett Knights have won four straight, all at home, including two Big Ten wins in a row.

I'm not sold on Rutgers' offense traveling well against Penn State, who has several wings that can score from both inside and out. This line is a bit too short for more liking as the Nittany Lions should be able to control the glass and generate enough clean looks to pull away late.

If this hits under -2, I'm probably going to add to Penn State.

PICK: Penn State -2, play to -3

DePaul (+6.5) vs. Marquette

Another sell high spot presents itself with Marquette, who has won their last two games by a combined 60 points.

They now face a DePaul team that has dropped four straight, slowing up after an 8-1 start, but has the chops to stick with an inexperienced Marquette team. This an unfamiliar spot for the Golden Eagles, favored by more than 3 points against a high major conference opponent, and I expect we see some regression.

DePaul is comfortable playing at Marquette's pace, each team is inside the top 50 in adjusted tempo, per KenPom, and is an elite rebounding team. The Blue Demons can hang around in this game, so I'll take the points.

PICK: DePaul +6.5, play to +6

Saint Louis (+3) vs. Dayton

You can check out my full game preview here, but the Bilks have the turnover forcing defense to give a Dayton team that has struggled to protect the rock all season fits.

Saint Louis is a physical offensive team that will generate second chance looks and get to the free throw line (the team is inside the top 15 nationally in offensive rebounding and free throw rate this season).

I like Saint Louis to keep this A-10 matchup close and have a chance to win it late.

PICK: Saint Louis +3, play to +2.5
