Another season of SEC football is about to begin!

Alabama proved to once again be kings of the conference last season, when it went undefeated on its way to a National Championship. The Crimson Tide have won six national championships dating back to 2009, and they’ll be on the hunt to win another this season.

Can Georgia, Texas A&M, or anyone else challenge Alabama in the SEC? Let’s find out what the oddsmakers think.

Odds to win the SEC Football Conference Championship

Here are the odds to win the 2021 SEC Conference Championship via WynnBET.

  • Alabama -150
  • Georgia +250
  • Texas A&M +1200
  • Florida +1500
  • LSU +2000
  • Ole Miss +5000
  • Auburn +6000
  • Kentucky +7500
  • Missouri +10000
  • Mississippi State +20000
  • Tennessee +20000
  • Arkansas +30000
  • South Carolina +50000
  • Vanderbilt +100000

Can anyone dethrone Alabama?

If anyone is going to take down Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide, it’s likely going to be the Georgia Bulldogs. After failing to win the SEC East last year, the Bulldogs are re-tooled and re-focussed for the 2021 season.

JT Daniels is returning for another season, and he’s expected to be one of the top Heisman candidates this year. Pair that with a loaded backfield that includes Zamir White and James Cook, and Georgia will prove to be a force to be reckoned with.

We’ll immediately get to see just how good Georgia is this season. They take on ACC powerhouse Clemson in Week 1. Georgia is set as a three-point underdog at WynnBET, in what will prove to be a tough challenge at Bank of America Stadium.

If the Bulldogs can beat Clemson in impressive fashion, they should have no problem winning the SEC East for a chance to likely face Alabama in the Conference Championship Game.

Will the Crimson Tide go undefeated?

Alabama hasn’t lost a football game since Nov. 30, 2019, when they fell to Auburn in the Iron Bowl. They’ve dominated the football world since then and many people think we’ll see more of the same in 2021.

The Crimson Tide are the -150 betting favorites to win the SEC, and they’re also the +300 favorites to win their second consecutive National Championship.

WynnBET also has Alabama’s regular season win total set at 11.5, but the over is juiced to +120, which basically means you can bet on the team going undefeated in the regular season at +120.

The odds are slightly surprising, as it means Vegas thinks there’s a favorable chance that Alabama will lose at least one regular season game. Its toughest challenges will likely come in two of the first three weeks. The Crimson Tide takes on Miami (FL) in a neutral site game in Week 1, where they’re set as 17-point favorites, and then Florida in Week 3.

A sneaky tough challenge could come on Oct. 2 when Alabama will face Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.

With that being said, I love having +120 odds on this powerhouse squad to go undefeated in the regular season.
